Question by : What is a good pasta recipe with garlicky baked shrimp?
I’m making garlic shrimp topped with panko breadcrumbs and then baked in the oven. I need a good pasta recipe either on the side of the shrimp or to put the shrimp on top of. Something simple and something that doesn’t overpower the shrimp. Any ideas?

Risotto would be great with the shrimp. It will absorb some of the sauce and you have a great flavor with the risotto itself. I would do a fairly simple one. Tradition says that cheese is not served with fish but I still think it would be good. (Parmesan cheese would be used in the risotto.)
If you want a pasta I think a linguine would be good. Make a bit of extra sauce for the shrimp and just serve the extra sauce with the pasta.

    Garlic Shrimp And Pasta
    Ingredients
12 oz. spaghetti or angel hair pasta
    2 1/2 tbsp. butter
    2 tbsp. olive oil
    1 large clove garlic, chopped
1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined, unfrozen
    1 tbsp. lemon zest, grated
    1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
1/4 cup lemon juice, preferably fresh
    1 tbsp. dried parsley flakes
    1. Cook pasta according to directions on package. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of water. Return pasta to the cooking pot.
    2. While pasta is cooking, heat 2 tbsp. of the butter, along with the oil, over medium heat in a large skillet. Add the garlic and cook, stirring, for about a minute, or until the garlic is fragrant.
    3. Add shrimp, lemon zest, and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, 3-5 minutes, or until the shrimp are opaque. Stir in lemon juice.
    4. Add shrimp to the pasta, along with the parsley, remaining butter and reserved water. Toss to coat.

  4. Take any shapes of pasta you want and cook it to your desired tendency and add a can or 2 of diced tomatoes that already has garlic and sweet onion in it and mix this together and serve with some Parmesan cheese on it. Very good!!
